To celebrate Children’s Environmental Health Day, Maryland Health Professionals for a Healthy Climate hosted a webinar covering the impacts of heat, plastics, and climate change and children’s mental health. Our speakers are all subject matter experts in their fields and went in depth on protecting children’s health in our changing climate, alongside practical tips for parents and caregivers. Another message was very clear: voting is an important action to take for children’s environmental health. You can use Maryland LCV’s voter engagement tool to check your registration and make a plan to vote by November 5, 2024. In case you missed it, you can watch the full recording on YouTube now.
