Energy Efficiency and Clean Energy Programs Still Available to Maryland Residents
On July 23, Maryland LCV Education Fund hosted a Conservation Conversation webinar about HR 1, specifically covering the many environmental programs the reconciliation package rescinded or repealed and the potential effects we might expect in Maryland. While many consumer programs designed to bring down energy costs will be ending earlier than expected, some federally funded programs remain available.
We wanted to follow up with resources on what energy efficiency, clean energy, and electrification programs are still available to Maryland residents now—and, where we know, for how long they will be available. Some of these are programs administered through state agencies like the Maryland Energy Administration, while others include links to programs nonprofit organizations are administering to help people save money and reduce pollution.
Know of other programs we’ve missed? Please reach out so we can add them to this list.
