Tune in virtually to the annual Maryland Environmental Summit, sponsored by the coalition of Maryland environmental groups known as CCE (Citizens Campaign for the Environment)! Learn about and rally for passage of important environmental bills in the General Assembly’s 2022 session including:

• Increasing Maryland’s greenhouse gas reduction requirements to 60% below 2006 levels by 2030 and net neutral by 2045;
• Restricting the use and disposal of toxic PFAS, “forever chemicals,” that are contaminating our water and putting Maryland families at risk.
• Amending the Maryland state constitution to protect each person’s right to a healthful environment; and
• Ensuring that the State Budget, including incoming federal dollars, prioritize the environment and environmental justice.

There will be presentations by both environmental advocates and leading members of the General Assembly.
